As an entrepreneur he owned multiple businesses in different sectors:  franchising, consulting, motor industry, take away food and beverages and property. Most of these businesses were new start-up enterprises. He worked in the corporate environment twice, although both experiences were short-lived.

He has been married for 30 years and is the proud father of two wonderful daughters. Apart from his belief, his family is the most important part of his life.
